Taking cues from both 1950s modernism and contemporary design aesthetics, Finnish designer Timo Ripatti’s Eve lounge chair for Fredericia boasts a defining wooden ring that seamlessly transitions from armrests to backrest.

Applying today’s technological manufacturing methods to traditional craftsmanship techniques, the lightweight lounge chair features a moulded wood seat that provides ergonomic comfort, while its exposed structural framework has a striking profile. Made from solid and engineered oak that can be finished with two oil treatment options (clear and white) or clear or black lacquered, Eve is also available upholstered with multiple fabric or leather seat pads.

Put into production in 2018, the chair’s prototype won Ripatti a Lexus Design Award when it was first presented in 2013. Suitable for residential, workspace and hospitality environments.
