Tethered and height-adjustable, the Fade benching system offers cubicle-style privacy without limitations. Originally designed for a specific client’s needs, Fade was refined and adapted to be useful in any workspace setting.

The clean, minimalist aesthetic can be integrated easily into existing setups and features multiple privacy solutions – vertical panels can be mounted on one end or multiple, depending on needs. A waterfall edge acts as a modesty panel and moves with the height-adjustable work surface; a small gap with glides separates the waterfall and panel ends, and maintains consistent spacing between surfaces.

Cables are managed via the system’s power beam and separate user cable troughs, which are under-mounted to individual stations. The cable troughs have a power strip and a front metal lip to hold wires in place, while a single coiled cord can be fed through the trough to plug into the overall power beam.

Additional privacy elements include desk-mounted removable screens and fixed vertical panels that delineate neighbouring workstations. Made from PET, laminate or veneer, the screens simply attach to the front of each desk and will move with height adjustments. The panels offer privacy from those directly across or beside one another at both standing and sitting heights and can be made from laminate, veneer or writable surfaces.
