Summer 2026

The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

Fiber Chairs by Muuto

First designed in 2014 by Denmark’s Iskos-Berlin, Muuto‘s Fiber Chair featured an innovative shell that was made from plastic and wood fibres and had a soft-to-the-touch matte texture. The next generation shares that attention to materials while improving its environmental impact.

Maintaining its iconic shape, the new version is made from a combination of recycled plastic content (at a minimum of 80 per cent, and sourced from post-industrial waste from eyewear manufacturing) and FSC-certified wood fibres.

Available in armchair and side chair iterations, Fiber comes in Black, Dusty Green, Grey, Ochre and White. Base options include four-leg wood or metal tube, sled, A-base and swivel (the last option with or without castors).

Sculptural and shapely, it suits all manner of settings, including offices, hotels, educational institutions, restaurants and even the home.
