A revamp of a collection originally revealed in 1984 and based on popular fashion garments of that time, the Fili collection of porcelain tiles from Ceramica Bardelli is an exploration of movement through colour and pattern.

Combining current colour trends with iconic textile weaves, the new series utilizes modern digital printing technology to deliver decorative touches on stoneware.

Approaching a space as a perfect outfit, the motifs feature colourful “threads” that run along the tile surfaces that can transform walls and floors both indoors and outdoors. The beauty of the collections lies in the imperfect linear designs that appear like hand-sewn touches with a pleasingly organic feel.

The collection of 11.5-by-23-centimetre tiles (with an 8.5-millimetre thickness) includes eight decorative colourways (seven uniform and one multicoloured) and seven complementary solid accents; both versions are offered in matte or glossy finishes.
