The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Flindt Garden and Plaza lights by Louis Poulsen

Expanding on his eponymous lighting collection for Louis Poulsen, Danish designer Christian Flindt recently introduced two new fixtures – Flint Garden and Flint Plaza – for cohesive landscape lighting applications.

Scalable and sculptural, the Flindt Garden bollard offers on-the-spot illumination suitable for both commercial and residential settings. Comprised of a slender tube with an elongated cutout forming a reflector – an element that is common to the Flindt family – it emits a wide, downward directed glare-free light.

Flindt Garden is available in two heights, three different mounting options and two finishes (Corten and aluminum) that easily blend in with the surroundings.

The larger Flindt Plaza is ideal for installation in public parks, urban squares, city centres, oceanfront settings and more. Featuring the same asymmetrical cutout, the light is adjustable by plus/minus 5-degrees vertically and 360-degrees horizontally on-site, which allows for varied light distribution. Light is emitted downwards with the source hidden at the top an up to four heads an be applied to one pole. Plaza is also available in Corten and aluminum.
