Approachable from any angle, the new Flipside modular bench by Barcelona-based designer Gemma Bernal for Arcadia expertly blends comfort with style, offering a contemporary take on traditional benches.

Adhering to a minimal concept, the Flipside bench is defined by its slender profile and open metal frame, managing to be both sophisticated and playfully energetic at the same time. The pared-back bench is available with or without a passive-flex backrest and the seat cushions feature internal suspension webbing to ensure long-lasting comfort.

Meanwhile, the open metal frame contributes to a sense of visual lightness that is enhanced by Flipside’s overall sleek design. The available two-, three- or four-unit options can be configured with upholstered seats only or with a combination of seats and tables, which can be incorporated within the plane of the bench, used to connect more than one bench together and serves as end tables; benches can be fully upholstered in a wide range of fabric options or include elegant wood.

A large portfolio of wood, laminate, Fenix, Corian and metal options is also available for the surfaces.

Suitable for use in a variety of settings, from workspaces and corporate boardrooms to educational institutions, healthcare settings and hospitality venues, Flipside’s unassuming design can also include integrated power units either on tabletops or tucked out of sight underneath the seat.
