Polish design studio Bujnie specializes in crafting unique plant stands characterized by clean forms and precise craftsmanship. Founded by architect Izabela Serej and brand expert Szmon Serej, Bujnie (which means ‘lush’ in Polish) aims to position nature centerstage in everyday life. A recent addition to the studio’s offerings is Floos, designed by Aleksandra Majdzik and Serej to be a modular wall-mounted plant hanger that allows greenery to thrive.
The shape of the system is directly related to plant type and life cycle, taking inspiration from their development from bud to full growth. Formed around the idea of buds and stems, Floos consists of a metal shelf for a plant pot (the bud) and slender stalks (the stems) that allow climbing branches to freely unfurl and occupy. Modules can be added to accommodate growth or to encourage new plants to spread out.
Arrangements can range from simple to complex, depending on personal preference and plants used. The durable nature of the steel construction also means the plant hangers are suitable for installation in both private and public settings.
Floos is available in four standard powder-coated colourways – terracotta, cobalt, beige and green – and can also be customized in any RAL colour.
