Designed by Matti Klenell, the Font Sofa System was first developed for the Swedish Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. Now available for public use, the sofa system carries the Nationalmuseum’s design history and sensibility, combined with distinctive Nordic flair.

The sofa’s graphic clarity and minimalism inspired its name, Font, with a combination of straight and curved modules that can be adapted into a “distinct furniture language”. Easy to use, combine, and move around, the Font Sofa System was built for versatility, simplicity and comfort.

The Font Sofa System components include an armchair, straight benches, and curved seating modules. The seat and back are made of cold foam wrapped in flameproof fiber, upholstered in fabric or leather, with a metal frame and wooden base.
