With a refined elegance and direct nod to nature, the new Forest collection from Quartzforms (a Scapin Group brand) brings a range of high-performance stone surfacing materials that showcases the kaleidoscope of multiform textures in the natural world.
Made of full-body technical quartz, the four-part series – Betulla, Sughero, Garrigue and Magnolia – is suitable for kitchen countertops, bathrooms, coverings and flooring, with each pattern expressing a constantly changing and delicately textured surface.
Inspired by the nearly uniform white of birch tree bark, Betulla slabs are feature a crisscrossing of irregular bluish-grey veins that add an evocative depth similar to the tree itself. The recognizable patterning has a unique luminosity and can have a polished or matte finish.
Recalling the texture of century-old cork wood, the subtle and warm red and bronze veins that dance across the ivory white background of Sughero quartz agglomerate slabs lend interest and movement. Finish options include polished or matte.
The dynamic and varied veins – some white, some blue and some nuanced red – give the dove-grey background of the Garrigue slabs a chiaroscuro-effect that was influenced by the thorny vegetation of certain areas in France and the Iberian Peninsula. In polished or matte finishes.
Magnolia is the complementary surface and has a deep green colouring inspired by the foliage of the plant that it has been named for. The shiny dark slabs are occasionally interrupted and illuminated by a smattering of subtle white veins. In polished or matte finishes.
All quartz slabs in the Forest collection are resistant to abrasions, scratches, aggressive chemical agents and heat and are non-toxic and non-porous; each coloured pattern brings uncompromising and attractive appeal to any interior setting.
