A recent addition to the PET Felt lighting collection from De Vorm, the Fost Large Acoustic lamp makes a statement in any setting. Measuring 118 centimetres in diameter, the large-scale pendant is suitable for use in bustling high-traffic public spaces like restaurants and hotels as well as offices, conference rooms and breakout areas.

Fost Large is made using the Dutch company’s PET Felt Technology, which recycles plastic bottles into a durable, versatile and malleable material. Pressed into a generous dome shape, the resultant ridged details give it an interesting dimension.

Contrasting the bold exterior, the subdued interior is made from white fabric and features an embedded spherical dimmable LED, to offer both a superior sound-dampening solution and high-quality light source. 

The Fost Large Acoustic lamp is offered in 11 striking colourways that include dark and light grey, brown, turquoise, olive, yellow and more; due to the recycled content that comprises the shade, no two tones will be alike.
