Responding to the changing needs of the workspace environment in the face of physical distancing, Framery has introduced a connected video conferencing phone booth to provide private, soundproof solo work stations.

Each pod uses 4G technology and a “digital ecosystem” along with effective acoustic insulation, resulting in efficient and isolated work islands where phone calls or virtual meetings can be conducted without distracting other nearby workers. A high-resolution touchscreen and seamless user interface allows for booking time slots, moderating and adjusting airflow and lighting and integrating personal calendars; sessions can be pre-timed and a pop-up message will alert the user when their session is nearly up.

Furthering the productivity, the seat and table can be easily adjusted for differing heights and weights, while fixed footrests enhance overall comfort (seats can be omitted if standing rooms are desired); the booths can also be accessorized with wireless charging stations, power outlets and a USB port.

Ninety-five per cent of the materials used to fabricate each Framery One – mainly steel – can be recycled (the structure is also fireproof) and integrated wheels let the stations be moved and rearranged to suit evolving needs and spaces. Multiple colours, including white, grey, black, winter moss, sand and navy, are available for the exteriors, while a range of interior panel fabrics for the carpet, seats and tables allow for customization.
