The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Nienkämper’s award-winning Gateway Collection is expanding with the introduction of battery-operated, height-adjustable tables. Designed to work with other Gateway designs, the new series can seamlessly change one’s working position from sitting to standing with the push of a button.

Gateway Height Adjustable tables can easily be adapted for open-plan working environments, touchdown spaces, meeting tables and breakout areas alike. The collection includes multiple table options that integrate flexible power, data and video connectivity.

Table tops are available in wood veneer or laminate, and optional upholstered acoustic panels allow for privacy in open environments. Reconfiguration is simple thanks to a rechargeable battery that is discreetly mounted to the underside of the table; there are no cords to manage. The tables are available on glides or low-profile locking casters. www.nienkamper.com
