The Glyph wall sconce marks the first collaboration between Yabu Pushelberg and lighting studio RBW. Named for the symbols that compress meaning into a minimal graphic form, the Glyph light plays up the dramatic contrast between light and shadow.
Inspired by the minimalistic art of the 1960s and ‘70s, Glyph combines simple yet precise shapes, impactful colourways and industrial materials.
The fixture is formed from two vertical panels that are joined at 90-degrees, forming two mirror halves of a whole. Distinct shadows are creating from the composition, that contrast the soft diffusion emitted from the LED-based component.
Made from textured aluminum sheets, Glyph can be installed horizontally or vertically and is offered in four richly toned powder-coated colourways – Emerald, Luster, Glimmer and Natural.
