The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Grapy outdoor lounges by Gan

Intended for long, leisurely hours, the Grapy outdoor lounge’s voluminous shape was inspired by the “image of a famer sitting on a jute sack,” according to Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro – three generous volumes are connected via elastics giving them the flexibility to support and adapt to natural body movements.

Originally introduced five years ago as an indoor lounge chair, two new durable fabrics have been added to the portfolio, making Grapy suitable for outdoor use.

From Sunbrella’s Bahia collection, Déco is a striking geometric jacquard offered in three chromatic variants – orange, yellow and blue. Reminiscently art deco, the removable waterproof cover has a stain-resistant finish.

Also water-proof and stain-resistant, Vichy by Jover Decó has subtle Mediterranean flare. Patterned with tiny squares the removable cover reads as a solid from afar, only revealing its intricate detailing when close. Available in yellow, orange and blue.
