Designed by Copenhagen-based Norm Architects, the Harbour lounge chair from Audo Copenhagen is the latest addition to the Harbour Chair collection, a series of seating that offers comfort, tactility and visual appeal.
With this new iteration, the Harbour lounge chair places the sculptural and enveloping shell atop a sleek aluminum star base; the smooth swivel functionality features an optional return version that allows for shifting and fidgeting. The slender four-pronged swivel star base complements the minimal lines of the seat and is available in polished or black finishes.
Generously proportioned, the Harbour lounge chair invites lingering with its angled backrest and gently flared armrests providing maximum comfort. Hand-upholstered in Logan Haze (a rich chocolate brown classic wool-inspired bouclé made from 66 per cent recycled cotton, 15 per cent wool and wool and four per cent polyester) and Baena 15 (a voluminous light creamy beige bouclé made from a blend of acrylic, wool, polyester and cotton).
Both upholstery options are durable and high-performance, making the Harbour lounge chair suitable for use in private residential settings as well as busy contract and commercial spaces.
The Harbour lounge chair from Audo maintains the sculptural minimalism that runs through the entire family, which includes a dining chair with a wooden, black steel or star base (in black or polished aluminum), a four-legged armless dining side chair (in wood or black steel), a dining chair with castors (polished aluminum) or star base (black steel), a lounge chair with solid wood base and bar- or counter-height stools.
