Expanding on its wellness-focused textiles, Carnegie has introduced the Hygeia collection of five high-performance and sustainable upholstery fabrics (plus two window drapery panels) that are intended for interior healthcare and wellness spaces. Combining classically sophisticated designs with durability and cleanability, the new offerings are 100 per cent PVC and PFAS free. 

At once abstract and symmetrical, Page Turner features a vibrant motif of irregular geometric shapes and exceeds material expectations – each yard of the bleach-cleanable fabric is made entirely from 96 post-consumer PET bottles. Available in six colourways. 

Inspired by a fall and winter staple of the fashion world – thickly ribbed corduroy – Casanova has a cozy warmth and bookish appeal. The polyester-cotton blend is stain-resistant and easy to clean. Available in six colourways. 

Mimicking the look of natural leather, Mustang is part of Carnegie’s larger Clean Slate coated collection, meaning the fire-resistant, very low-VOC polyurethane is impervious to pen and marker staining and is approved for hospital grade cleaners. Available in 12 colourways. 

The dainty chain-link patterning of Helix Print belies its strengths – the silicone hybrid upholstery has the expression of a textural woven stripe but is cleanable (with water, solvent and bleach), durable, antimicrobial and fire resistant. Available in four colourways. 

Boasting exceptional printing clarity (as with Helix Print), Juno Print realistically resembles natural wool with a rhythmic novelty slub yarn, but one that is antimicrobial, antibacterial and flame resistant. Available in three colourways. 

Rounding out the Hygeia Collection are two Création Baumann semi-transparent drapery options (not shown): Shari Eco, a two-tone satin weave that resembles mottled wool, and the nature-inspired Nolin with a mottled and elongated flame pattern. Both drapes are made from 100 per cent recycled Trevira CS polyester, water-solvent, flame-resistant, certified for indoor air quality specifications and available in eight colourways.
