The Icona collection designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Fantini offers a wide range of designs for an even wider range of interior design projects.
Icona Classic is a contemporary re-interpretation of the classic bathroom icon that plays subtly and elegantly with proportions.
Functionality, durability and comfort were the inputs and priorities set for the project, which the designer expressed with a quiet aesthetic quality that follows neither trends nor fashion.
“For me, Icona is a timeless collection of bathroom fixtures to suit every scenario, with a hint of past memories, but not too much, and still very contemporary and modern, with attention to ergonomics and a degree of sensuality,” Van Duysen explains.
Icona Deco was inspired by the formal details, curves and sections of Art Deco. The extreme refinement of its geometry and proportions combines rounded and flat surfaces with aesthetically diverse elements.
The design is essential, linear and curvy all at the same time. Both the Icona Classic collection and the Icona Deco collection are available in 9 finishes from Chrome to Nickel PVD, in the more traditional range, to Matte Gun Metal PVD, Brushed Copper PVD and Matte British Gold PVD for a more modern, industrial, and tactile aesthetic.
