In Good Company textile collection from Pallas

Wisconsin-based Pallas is launching the new sustainable textile collection In Good Company, designed in collaboration with Géraldine Blanchot Fortier, founder of Limn & Loom. Highlighting the textile manufacturer’s commitment to sustainability, the new collection offers designers beautiful, high-quality fabrics that also contribute to ocean conservation.

Each of the six textiles within the In Good Company collection – Isla, Kai, Hali, Ahti, Llyr and Maren – use upcycled polyester yarns made from marine and post-consumer plastic from the SEAQUAL Initiative; the plastics for this collection are sourced and manufactured in the United States, reducing its carbon footprint and offering an environmentally responsible alternative.

Isla

An elegant and tactile fabric, Isla (Spanish for island) features layered slub and chenille yarns that lend the effect of light dancing across natural surfaces like water. Serene and yet full of personality, Isla is available in a selection of nature-inspired colourways and plays an understated but important role in the design of any interior.

Kai

The structured surface of Kai (Hawaiian for ocean) is punctuated by heathered warp and weft yarns, which lends the fabric an elevated touch. Offered in a range of lovely colourways that run from neutral to more complex tints and hues, Kai has a classic style for multipurpose spaces.

Hali textiles
Hali

Constructed with a nubbly boucle yarn, Hali (Greek for sea) is a pleasingly tactile chunky weave with an expressive and inherent dimensionality. Superb for upholstery and architecturally distinct, Hali enhances the materiality and plushness of modern curvilinear elements.

Ahti

Exploring the human connection to materiality, Ahti (Finnish god of depths and water) has a velvet-like surface that is both finespun and easy to care for. Rich and textural, Ahti brings an accent to any room and is offered in a curated selection of neutrals, jewel tones and steely pastels.

Llyr

Llyr (Welsh for sea) has a layered nuance with delicately aged natural-hued undertones. Like clouds floating across the sky, the enticing pattern is detailed with subtle hints of texture that enhance the otherwise monochromatic surface.

Maren textile
Maren

Playing with light and movement through mixed yarn media, Maren (Scandinavian for sea) draws attention to the tactile effect that occurs when slub and chenille yarns interact. A classic and modern addition to the collection, it makes a luxurious anchor point and is offered in a curated palette of colourways.
