Created by American industrial designer Stephen Burks, the Islands Low series features three freestanding tables in differing heights and dimensions that function as individual pieces or can be grouped together to create larger expanses. 

The perimeters of the circular tables are comprised of a series of pivoting slats that can be positioned at different angles to provide both open and closed storage, depending on needs and preferences, while the flat surfaces feature a graceful bevelled edge. 

The indoor version is offered with surfaces in wood veneer, marble or lacquered matte black and the outdoor iteration is available in matte black-painted aluminum.
