For Kelly Hoppen’s first collaboration with Focus SB, the British-based manufacturer of electrical accessories, the designer developed a five-piece collection of “wall jewellery” intended for the UK and China hospitality and residential markets. Offering an elegant alternative to more conventional options, each of the light switch plates is available in various metals with glossy or matte finishes. 

Incorporating contrast and texture, the Corner plate features a small geometric detail – an architectural triangle – at the bottom right-hand corner. 

Fifty Fifty combines two metallic finishes equally, with half the flat plate polished and the other satin. 

Two metallic lines run parallel down the middle of Pinstripe and contrast handsomely against the plate’s matte finish. 

The most subdued of the series, Dot features two sets of double circles, one at the top and one at the bottom, that are both timeless and subtly reference the digital world. 

Exhibiting a single metallic shade, Plank’s detail comes through in the horizontal machined-grooved lines that catch light to give the design depth.
