The first in a series of self-care initiatives by leading kitchen and bath brand Kohler, the Remedy Place Ice Bath was devised in collaboration with Dr. Jonathan Leary, founder and CEO of Remedy Place.
Combining Kohler’s design and manufacturing know-how with Dr. Leary’s invaluable insight and expertise in self-care therapies, the Kohler x Remedy Place Ice Bath reimagines the cold plunge to create a unique and approachable experience at home.
As founder of Remedy Place – which positions itself as the world’s first social wellness club – Dr. Leary believes in empowering people to live “gracious, healthy and sustainable lives” and brings this with him as Kohler’s newly appointed Lead Self-Care Advisor. Together, his designing to heal approach and Kohler’s advanced engineering capabilities and quality craftsmanship has led to the creation of the sophisticated Kohler x Remedy Place Ice Bath.
Cloaked in a contemporary dark-hued design and made with high-end materials, the ice bath has a sleek and minimal appearance that belies its powerhouse advances, which include precision temperature control (ranging from 39 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit), ergo-dynamic body positioning, a state-of-the-art water-management system with UV-powered filtration and an integrated light that guides breathwork to augment the benefits of cold therapy.
The interior of the Kohler x Remedy Place Ice Bath is constructed from Avonite Flex (a hygenic solid surface material) with a comfortable upright sitting position, cushioned headrest and integrated hand grooves, which all work to eliminate distractions in order to fully focus on the experience. Outdoor Luxury HPL clads the exterior, lending superb durability.
To help breath regulation and track session lengths, the ice bath features an integrated timer and breath light, with a convenient built-in smartphone slot keeping streaming meditation and coaching sessions by Dr. Leary nearby (the Kohler Konnect app includes more guided meditation sessions).
Available in Spring 2025, the Kohler x Remedy Place Ice Bath is currently available for pre-order; the bath includes optional plumbing integration for filling and draining and is suitable for use indoors and outdoors.
