Kumo Table Frigerio

Designed by Milan-based studio Calvi Brambilla, the Kumo table from Frigerio is part of the brand’s 2026 Metamorphosis collection, which reinterprets classics through a modern-day and artistic lens.

Kumo Table Frigerio

The Kumo table from Frigerio expresses a rational rigour, one that has a sense of lightness and exceptional attention to detail. Defined by an organic abstraction and sculptural presence, the table deftly evokes the fluid forms and bold colours found in the works of Alexander Calder and Henry Moore.

Creating a dynamic contrast between mass and void, the Kumo table from Frigerio balances its expansive rectangular surface atop two bases that are composed of interconnected irregular volumes.

The rounded edge of the tabletop lends softness to the design, while the supporting elements are held together by a sophisticated joint system. Each vertical base is made from black-painted metal clad in two marble panels that are pressed together; the volumes have coordinating shapes that appear to rest lightly upon each other without compromising stability.

With its voluminous design, the Kumo table from Frigerio fills a dining room with its compelling personality and elegant permanence.

The table is available in two sizes and offered in the brand’s full range of glossy and matte marble varieties: Dark Emperador, Bero Marquina, Orobico, Verde Levanto, Rossa Levanto, Breccia Damascata (with leather-effect finish), open-pore natural Travertino, Nero Sahara, Ocean Storm, Dover White, closed-pore Travertino and Calacatta Oro.

Calvi Brambilla was founded in 2023 by designers Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla, along with engineer Marisa Rotolo and interior designer Maurizio Diraco.
