To give the Link outdoor rug its nuanced and undulating appearance, MUT Design of Spain braided ropes of differing sizes together – three millimetres and six millimetres – with the wider rope forming raised ridges across the surface; the scalloped pattern along the ends is the result of the ropes being fed back into the weave. 

The alternating of polypropylene ropes allows for colour-block detailing around the edges and overlapping scallop loops, furthering Link’s textural appeal.
