Combining hand-knotted Tibetan wool and silk, the pattern of the two Mainland Rugs by Sebastian Herkner for The Rug Company were influenced by the urban landscape: layered quadrilateral shapes represent the connections, junctions, overlaps and free spaces found in a city. Mainland Light features a palette of rose pink, cream and pale grey, while Mainland Dark is defined by deep blue, charcoal grey and black.
