The Making Room collection from Resource Furniture includes an expansive range of modular and transformable furniture and storage solutions. Designed by Italian studio Castiglia Associati for Italian multifunctional furniture-maker Clei, the system is available in North America exclusively through Resource Furniture.
A refined space-saving series, the Making Room collection at Resource Furniture features innovative design solutions that are flexible, functional and sophisticated and is designed to work seamlessly with Resource Furniture’s renowned wall bed systems.
Highlights of the Making Room collection include (but are not limited to) the Wally Plus Transforming Table with storage, which is an enhancement of the Wally fold-down table that offers more storage depth, integrated USB ports and wire management; customizable drawer and cabinet units that can standalone or be incorporated within wall-bed or shelving systems, providing flexible configurations that max out on storage; and modular shelving and storage units that feature tilt-up compartments, LEDs and a mix of open and closed options.
Other transformable pieces within the collection include single and double door wardrobes, both with room for hanging and folded storage; the wall-mounted modular shelving, which can be configured with sliding doors, flip-up or flip-down doors, a mix of open and closed cubbies, and integrated with LEDs; upper cabinets in two depths with touch-latch doors and low cabinets in multiple widths and depths with drawers, open shelving, closed compartments and tilt-up designs that allows for easy accessible storage behind sofas.
The integral elements within the Making Room collection from Resource Furniture can be customized with matte, glossy, wood veneer or glass finishes and are accented by refined hardware and handle options. A wide-ranging palette of lacquers – from moody neutrals and greys to vibrant yellows, reds and blues – and melamines (white, pearl and graphite as well as natural wood-looks) are available.
Handcrafted in Italy, the components are made from sustainably sourced materials, ensuring that the Making Room collection is an eco-friendly way to keep homes stylish, smartly organized and clutter-free.
