A collaboration between Brooklyn-based Society of Wonderland and California wallpaper design studio Astek, the Monochromatic wallpaper series reimagines long-standing favourite designs from Society of Wonderland’s original collection.

A curated selection of four art deco- and mid-century-inspired prints – Open Bar, Railway, Rewind and Uptown – by founder and digital artist Stephanie Eventov, the Monochromatic series of wallpaper renders the graphic patterns in lush earthy tones and are amped up with high-gloss detailing.

Open Bar in Terracotta

Using a specialty spot gloss printing technique, Society of Wonderland and Astek created the Monochromatic collection of to let shapes and lines shine the brightest, with layers of tonal colours forming a textured surface that plays with light.

Railway in Seafoam

In contrast to Society of Wonderland’s usual palette of bright and vibrant colourways, the Monochromatic wallpaper series employs three deep earth-inspired tones- Terracotta, Seafoam and Sand – to accentuate the strong geometric patterns.

Uptown in Sand

Highlighting the appeal of simplicity and texture, the rounded shapes and lines that comprise the patterns in the Monochromatic series are given centre stage and lend interiors a strong dose of visual and tactile interest.

Rewind in Terracotta

The Monochromatic wallpaper series is made with a matte vinyl substrate and is suitable for both residential and commercial applications; the individual patterns can be customized for colour, substrate and scale.
