Stockholm-based artist and illustrator Siri Carlén is known for tactile, playful and colourful works, all of which she applied to her Monster collection of rugs for Hem.
Depicting cartoon-like exaggerations of natural animal markings, the four rug in the Monster series have either bold stripes or ringed patterns to make a visually impactful addition to any space.
Hand-knotted in India by skilled artisans using 100 per cent New Zealand wool, Hem’s Monster rugs have a deep plush pile that has a luxurious hand and pleasant softness.
Offered in four colourways – Beige and Off-White, Dark Teal and Off-White, Turquoise and Peach, and Ultramarine Blue and Off-White – and two sizes (medium and extra large), the nature-inspired pieces have a personality all their own.
