Slovenian-born, London-based designer Lara Bohinc was inspired by the phases of the Moon when conceiving her first collection for Brooklyn studio Roll & Hill. The intriguing three dimensional Moonrise light has a playful composition, and presents a distinct view from every angle.
Informed by Bohinc’s curiosity around the concepts of contradiction, deconstruction and reconfiguration, the collection includes three pieces – two sconces and a chandelier. Made from brushed brass or black anodized aluminum, they are contradictions themselves: bold yet light, graphic yet fluid, geometric yet feminine.
Combining round and half-round shapes with frosted acrylic diffusers, Roll & Hill’s Moonrise lighting series makes a stunning addition to any interior.
