Italian creative studio Spaghetti Wall has added the Motus collection to its portfolio of made-to-order, high-performance wallpaper. Designed by Milanese textile and surface artist Ludovica Misciattelli, the vibrant patterns play with the imperfect lines and fluid movement of handmade brushstrokes.
Graphic and impactful, Motus combines soft aesthetics with bold colourways to impart nuanced motifs that reference the fashion world’s delicate fabrics. The collection is comprised of seven compelling pattern variations, with each riffing on sartorial classics.
Each expression is available for printing on six materials suitable for use in residential, commercial, hospitality and sanitary settings: Natural (a standard, non-woven sustainably cultivated cellulose), Sablé (a vinyl non-woven fabric), Pop White (a fibreglass wall-support suitable for damp or wet environments, depending on the final finish), Oro Glossy (with a glossy gold finish), Cool Gold (a fibreglass wall substrate with satin gold finish suitable for damp and wet environments, depending on the final finish) and White Sound (a white fibreglass material paired with a sound-absorbing layer).
The different material options allow for the Motus papers to be used in a diverse range of settings, from bathrooms, showers, spas and gyms to kitchens, walls, ceilings and doors.
Further, each pattern in Spaghetti Wall’s Motus wallpaper collection comes in a variety of bold and eye-catching colourways, resulting in room-defining artistic installations.
