Fusing a floor lamp with a pendant, the North Floor-Pendant system by Arik Levy seems to float gracefully in space. Combing a slender carbon-fibre rod, conical shade and near-invisible ceiling steel suspension cable, the adjustable lamp is supported by a floor-level counter weight that guides the electrical cable from the shade to the socket so that the light can be focused wherever needed.
