Rail thin and tall in stature, the Oblique floor lamp by Flos occupies little floor space but is equipped with advanced LED technology and a patented ultra-flat lens that casts a controlled and asymmetrical light beam to generously illuminate spaces.
Conceived by Antwerp-based designer and architect Vincent Van Duysen, the floor lamp is the second iteration of Oblique, with the first being a compact table light that revolutionized the conventional archetype.
Like its predecessor, the Oblique floor lamp from Flos features a rounded flat head with embedded five-millimetre-thick lens that has a high efficiency of 97 per cent and projects light in a focused way. Enhancing its practical functionality, the stem is rotatable 355 degrees.
Ideal for positioning next to reading and lounge chairs in both domestic and professional spaces, the lamp features an unobtrusive button on its head that allows for haptic interaction to control the dimming levels; a USB-C port at its base is a convenient place to charge external devices.
The Oblique Floor Lamp by Flos is offered in six colourways: Glossy Grey, Glossy Sage, Matte Anthracite, Matte Brown, Matte Rust and Matte White.
