Comprising a rigid sheet and a microporous core, Kingspan’s OPTIM-R high-performance panel is made using an industrial air-evacuation process that results in a compact package, as thin as 20 millimetres. Suitable for shallow cavities in floors, walls and roofs (a balcony and terrace system is also available), these vacuum-insulated panels are 90 per cent recyclable. They officially launch in the U.S. in mid-2018.
