Leaning heavily into a ’70s vibe, the Õru chair and table for Andreu World by Patricia Urquiola have a striking architectural presence. The chair’s three pleasingly oar-shaped legs embrace the upholstered seat in a natural way, with the back leg extending seamlessly to form a headrest.
Combing quality craftsmanship with industrial technology, there are a wide range of recycled fabrics available for the upholstery, and the internal foam is made from recycled fibres. Along with the simple chair, an armchair and different-sized stools are also available.
The Õru table is intended to support both causal and formal working environments, and the series includes coffee, dining, meeting and occasional formats. All share similar characteristics and celebrate traditional craftsmanship.
With softly rounded edges and a compact form, the tables are designed for the circular economy: all components are easy to separate and recycle when the pieces reach the end of a useful life.
