Brooklyn-based artist and designer Liam Lee drew from his creative practice to develop the poetic Paint by Numbers collection for HBF Textiles that includes Impasto, a textural velvet fabric (shown here on the central stool) named for the painterly technique of building depth with layers of pigment.

Three other complementary introductions reference geometric grids, pointillism and ’90s computer graphics.
