The three-piece Paseos series of containers and seating by Sao Paulo-based ceramic artist and designer Claudia Issa for Kornegay Design brings functional sculpture to public settings. 

Intended for public-realm installations, the Paseos collection of containers and seating is comprised of two differently sized planters and one solid pedestal that can be used as a low seat or side table. All three individual pieces share a similar form but with unique characteristics thanks to the imperfect nature of their material; cast concrete. 

The design of each piece allows for interaction through rotation while also being supremely stable and durable. Offered standard in natural grey, the containers (with drainage) and stool can be customized for colour and sandblasted or finished with a bituminous sealer (for interior applications).
