Summer 2026

The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

Sarah Gibson and Nicholas Karlovasitis designed the Potato chair to be fully customizable and function as both a standalone object and part of an overall design scheme. To that end, the clean-lined seat is available in 25 variations, with 180 seat and base combinations.

Base options include swivel with or without casters, four-legged steel tube, stackable four-legged steel tube and four-legged timber, while shells can be natural- or black-stained oak, fitted with a seat cushion or fully upholstered.

Multiple fabric and leather options are available as is a back-mounted leather handle to easily transport the lightweight piece.
