Pulla sofa by Leolux

An intriguing study of form and materials, the Pulla sofa by Netherlands-based studio Truly Truly for Leolux is a unique approach to timeless sofa designs. Its shape – with the seat, back and arms interwoven and overlapping – is a direct nod to the Finnish plaited bread loaf from which the sofa takes its name.

With a low-slung profile and set on diminutive legs, the generous padded volumes appear to be floating in place while its extra-deep seat (65 centimetres) provides ample space for lounging.

A modular system, the Pulla elements can be joined together to form custom configurations, with the backs serving as the connecting factors that seemingly create one unit.

Sofa modules include 2.5-, 3-, 3.5- and 4-seaters and the series includes a coordinating chaise longue as well as divans and ottomans, which can be freestanding in a room. Multiple upholstery fabrics and leathers are available and the aluminum legs can be left standard or lacquered or powder coated.
