Referencing astronomy and his fascination with the purity of circular shapes, French designer Samy Rio developed Quasar to expertly overcome technical constraints and create an efficient yet playful portable light. 

Named for the brightest stars in the galaxy, Quasar can be used indoors and outdoors and is offered in a range of five vibrant hues — each of which is paired with a length of coordinating cord that allows the lamp to be hung and moved around easily. 

Featuring a warmth dimmer with three settings, the lamp contributes to the ambiance of indoor spaces and brings controlled illumination to outdoor ones. 

Made from twenty percent recycled aluminum, the cordless light includes a rechargeable battery that can last up to twenty-four hours, depending on the intensity of illumination used. The five colourways offered are: Emerald Green, Black, Olive Green, Aluminum and Sienna.
