The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Rafael outdoor dining set by Ethimo

Expanding on her Rafael lounge series for Ethimo, Italian designer Paola Navone recently introduced a set of outdoor dining tables and small armchairs to offer a well-rounded and cohesive collection.

The new tables feature the same brushed or pickled teak bases as the original lounge pieces and are offered with a variety of surface options: two asymmetrically shaped versions that encourage convivial interaction between diners can be topped with either Statuario marble or lava stone enamelled in a vibrant aquamarine, while the third circular all-teak iteration can be configured with an optional 110-centimetre-diametre Statuario marble Lazy Susan.

The coordinating armchairs have a brushed or pickled teak frame with the seat and back made from woven light grey rope that offers ergonomic support to the sitter and a highly tactile element that can be found throughout the entire series. Plastic slippers provide stability and a slightly quirky touch.
