The new River luminaire collection by Eureka was inspired by the continuous movement of water and includes a range of pendants and flush- and surface-mount fixtures that can be used to create dynamic and comprehensive applications in a variety of settings.
Translating the fluidity and fluctuation of a moving waterway into sculptural lighting forms, the fixtures in the River collection are made from a transparent 3D-printed polymer that houses an interior LED tube that provides up to 400 lumens per foot.
The exterior material has a ridged surface that effectively captures and diffuses illumination in subdued yet dramatic waves, playing with light and shadow in a way that evokes the depth and rhythm of flowing water.
The River collection by Eureka includes four geometric shapes — Line in two sizes, Square in three sizes, Oblong in three sizes and Ring in three sizes — as well as two amorphous forms in one size each, Lagoon and Freeform.
The robust family of differently shaped and sized fixtures allows for single-fixture or grouped installations suitable for large retail environments, shared amenity spaces in condominiums and hotel lobbies, reception areas, boardrooms and more.
The pendant fixtures are suspended from powered aircraft cables, which eliminates extra wiring and other visual clutter; the flush- and surface-mount fixtures cast an ambient glow through the transparent body onto the ceiling or wall, creating an inviting atmosphere.
All fixtures in the River collection from Eureka feature metal brackets that introduce a deliberate pop of colour — 16 hues are available that range from standard Black and White to metallic Champagne and a variety of premium colours including Apricot Yellow, Clay Pink, Sand Beige, Sage Grey, Lunar Grey, Hunter Green, Brick Red, Chocolate Brown, Dynamic Blue, Navy Blue, Summer Teal and Grass Green.
