Clean lines and minimal detailing give Bonaldo‘s Roll bookcase a strong industrial styling, but one with subtle sophistication. Designed by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci, founders of Italian studio Archirivolto, the modular shelving unit can be fixed a wall or the ceiling, giving it the ability to be placed in the centre of a room and serve as a space divider.
The metal tube framework and clamping details come standard finished in a lead-black, with optional matte brass or matte copper available for the clamps. Wood shelves can be finished the same black tone for seamless matching or they can be veneered walnut Canaletto to introduce a warm contrast.
Modules can be used singularly or linked together in twos or threes to form large scale storage units; shelving can be installed symmetrically, asymmetrically or in random positions.
An open-box module is also included in the series, which offers the ability to create space for a TV or other large items.
