Designtex has added four new Performance Luxury upholstery textiles – collectively Drop 22 – to its wide-ranging portfolio. Engineered to be durable against robust cleaning, the classically patterned fabrics are defined by their tactility, richness and creativity. Three – Habitat, Roundel and Stamp – express the organic irregularity of soft bouclé yarns, while the fourth – Check – boasts a deliberately crafted geometric pattern.

With playful large-scale polka dots on a solid ground, Roundel has a surprising gentleness that is heightened by its soft bouclé yarn. The fabric is available in three colourways: the pale grey and creamy white Cloud, grey-on-grey Pinto and striking black and white Dice.

Offered in four moody neutrals – Snow, Parchment, Mineral and Storm – the understated Habitat bouclé is reminiscent of a cozy wool sweater, albeit one that is remarkably durable. It makes an ideal counterpoint to more detailed patterns.

With a timeless medium-scaled pattern of curved geometric shapes, Stamp presents a vibrant movement and compelling visual interest. Available in five colourways: Quartz, Goldenrod, Azure, Mollusk and Cave.

The most graphic of the bunch, the bleach-cleanable Check features a striking pattern of layered angular and square shapes. Made from polyester, it is suitable for panel applications as well as upholstery and is offered in five gradated colourways – Iron, Goldenrod, Paprika, Denim and Slate.

All four of Designtex’s Drop 22 textiles are made from high quality and engineered elements that free from chemical coatings and resistant to staining.
