Weaving leftover and scarp sari silk with quality New Zealand wool, the Sarisilk collection of rugs by Revival brings understated elegance to rooms.
Each piece is handmade by artisans in India who first remove individual threads from recycled silk saris before sorting them by colour and then spinning them together into a yarn comprised of hundreds of shades.
The resulting rugs are super soft and boast bold colourways and unique patterns, with no two alike.
Available in limited numbers, Revival’s hand-knotted, low pile Sarisilk rugs have natural inconsistencies and slight variations in size (averaging between 235 by 286 and 239 by 307 centimetres).
