Designer Jean-Marie Massaud took inspiration from the “gentle embrace of a seashell” for his aptly named SEASHELL GRAND for DEDON. 

A sister collection to Massaud’s SEASHELL NUO series of armchairs, lounge chairs, barstools and counter-height barstools, SEASHELL GRAND is a high-backed and enveloping wing chair that creates a cove-like sense of comfort and security. 

Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, SEASHELL GRAND is hand-crafted by DEDON’s master weavers using EcoCycle Fiber, a responsible alternative to conventional, fossil-fuel-based products. With unrivalled strength and weatherability, the fibres are derived from 90 per cent renewable plant-based resources and lend the wing chairs a luxurious appearance and compelling texture. 

Woven on a durable powder-coated aluminum frame, the fibres of the SEASHELL GRAND from DEDON are available in four colour pairings: Oak, a combination of black and beige fibres; Oasis, an earthy yellow and white; Seaside, a coastal-inspired blue and white; and Umber, a rich brown-red and white. 

A wide range of textile options is offered for the upholstered cushions, including vibrant and nature-inspired solids, tonal mesh-like fabrics and intricate patterns. A coordinating footstool is also available.
