Summer 2026

The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

A biophilic flooring collection, Shifting Fields offers a solution for creating spatial boundaries in open workspaces with no solid walls or partitions. Comprised of six varying but complementary patterns, the series can be used to establish wayfinding, transitions and definitive zones while also introducing nature-inspired motifs.

Four of the styles – Enclave, Landing, Landing Edge and Plains – are available in 45.7-by-91.4-centimeter tiles and two – Clearing and Vista – come in 22.8-by-91.4-centimetre tiles. The organic patterns of each are influenced by the shifting nature of the points where land, sky, water and horizon meet.

Shifting Fields is an addition to Shaw’s Rug Program, which includes 30 different styles and off-the-shelf sizing to offer designers a flexible platform to add warmth and definition to interior commercial spaces. The collection is made from Eco Solution Q nylon with EcoWorx backing and meet GreenLabel Plus for indoor air quality standards.
