Named for and inspired by the hulking storage structures, the Silos collection by Milan-based Studiopepe for Istanbul design brand Uniqka blends architectural beauty with artisan craftsmanship. 

Instilling a charming elegance to a sculptural form, the Silos collection is a family of low tables, with each expressing its own character, one enhanced by a curated materiality: the statuesque legs are wrapped in vegetable-tanned leather – a favoured material sourced by Uniqka from conscious and responsible suppliers, who employ traditional methods dating back thousands of years and use only natural and eco-friendly plant extracts in the process. 

The soft, earthy and tactile leather is paired with thin surfaces with rounded edges that are available in a variety of materials, in complementary or contrasting hues. Along with supple leather, the tabletops can be made from travertine, warm wood or refined metal. A palette that ranges from warm neutrals to bold colourways is offered for the base and tops. 

Tall and slender or short and squat, the Silos collection by Studiopepe for Uniqka evoke a sense of poetic harmony as light and shadow meet and play across the volumes’ curved lines, with the industrial-inspired forms and curated materials providing a timeless visual style.
