The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

London-based designers Sam Hecht and Kim Colin of Industrial Facility conceived Slope and Tumbler to bring a softer, more residential feel to outdoor settings. Now offered in North America through the Santa & Cole Urbidermis division of Landscape Forms, the two lighting fixtures feature fuss-free lines that can be easily incorporated into multiple scenarios.

Translating the familiar residential lampshade for outdoor use, Tumbler has a tapered form with softly rounded edges. Applicable in both private and public spaces, the injected- aluminum light with tempered optical glass diffuser is available in multiple formats including catenary, double- and single-column pole mount and wall-mount.

Slope’s profile is angled at a subtle nine degrees to avoid glare and its slender design – under an inch at its thinnest – contains advanced LEDs for precise illumination that blends seamlessly into its surroundings, from parks and streets to buildings and private homes. Available in multiple versions including wall-mount, back-to-back and a single column.
