This eight-design rug collection explores the sense of sound through a visual medium. Each of the unique patterns reflects an abstract reimagining of our connection to sound, resulting in contemporary floor art.

An interpretation of an acoustic prism where sound waves bend or spread out, Prism features a single rounded corner and its patterning was inspired by an original watercolour collage.

Visualizing the echoing curves of simultaneous musical tones, the layered Chord features near-transparent linear elements the blend and blur into one another and overlayed with an interpretation of ivory strings.

Defined by overlapping fluid lines, Hymn has a meditative meandering pattern that instills a sense of calm with a palette of fresh sage greens and light greys with warm blush highlights.

With Resonant, three semi-circles in varying sizes are set upon a background colour reminiscent of distressed concrete, creating an echo of motifs with magnified visual interest and dimension.

Three of the patterns – Resonant, Chord and Ambient are also rendered with dynamic tonal shifts in the Gradient iterations. All rugs are hand-knotted in Nepal using Tibetan wool and Chinese silk and are available in four standard sizes, with custom colouring and sizing also offered.
