With the Sonar bathroom collection, Laufen introduces the third generation of SaphirKeramik. Internationally renowned designer Patricia Urquiola has embraced the uniquely thin-walled SaphirKeramik – crafting the Sonar collection with a refined formal language that gives the exquisite ceramic material a three-dimensional texture.
Expressive in its simplicity, Sonar’s formal language plays with arcs and angles, subtly highlighting SaphirKeramik’s slender lines. To further emphasize Sonar’s lightness, Urquiola and Laufen developed a fine, three-dimensional texture for the washbasin bowls’ external surfaces. The textured version can be selected as an optional alternative to the traditional smooth surface and is reminiscent of sound waves propagating in water.
The Sonar collection includes floor-standing and wall-mounted washbasins, a bathtub, two washbasin bowls, and a double washbasin bowl, also available in white matte.
