Keilhauer’s first-ever carbon neutral chair, Swurve is designed with comfort and versatility in mind. Featuring an ergonomic knit back, the light and agile design encourages free movement – with the flexibility accentuated by Keilhauer’s patented syncro-tilt mechanism.
Inspired by organic forms, the elegant design is available in a wide range of finishes, including 22 mesh colours ranging from sophisticated and subdued tones to vivid hues like Maraschino, Tulip and Cacti. In addition, a range of nylon and aluminum base options are offered in a variety of neutral tones.
Reflecting Keilhauer’s commitment to sustainability – and its drive towards closed loop manufacturing – Swurve seating is certified under some of the industry’s most rigorous environmental standards, including BIFMA LEVEL 2 and Indoor Air Quality’s Indoor Advantage: Gold.
Keilhauer products are also applicable towards the Well Building Standard, as well as LEED v4.
Keilhauer’s holistic sustainable ethos is also outlined in the company’s comprehensive environmental assessment for Swurve, which includes a full breakdown of materials and recycled content for each finish option, as well as an overview of Keilhauer’s forward-thinking approach to supply chain, manufacturing, shipping and product life-cycle assessment – with an emphasis on repair and recyclability.
